나 어느 날 꿈속을 헤매며

 

1. 나 어느 날 꿈속을 헤매며 어느 바닷가 거닐 때
그 갈릴리 오신 이 따르는 많은 무리를 보았네
나 그때에 확실히 맹인이 눈을 뜨는 것 보았네
그 갈릴리 오신 이 능력이 나를 놀라게 하였네
내가 영원히 사모할 주님 
참 사랑과 은혜 넘쳐 
나 뵈옵고 그 후로부터 
내 구주로 섬겼네

2. 그 사랑의 눈빛과 음성을 나는 잊을 수 없겠네
그 갈릴리 오신 이 그때에 이죄인을 향하여
못 자국 난 그 손과 옆구리 보이시면서 하신 말
네 지은 죄 사했다 하실 때 나의 죄짐이 풀렸네
내가 영원히 사모할 주님 
참 사랑과 은혜 넘쳐 
나 뵈옵고 그 후로부터 
내 구주로 섬겼네

3. 그 사나운 바다를 향하여 잔잔하라고 명했네
그 파도가 주 말씀 따라서 아주 잔잔케 되었네
그 잔잔한 바다의 평온함 나의 맘속에 남아서
그 갈릴리 오신 이 의지할 참된 믿음이 되었네
내가 영원히 사모할 주님 
참 사랑과 은혜 넘쳐 
나 뵈옵고 그 후로부터 
내 구주로 섬겼네

4. 이 세상의 무거운 짐 진 자 모두 주 앞에 나오라
그 놀라운 은혜를 받아서 맘의 평안을 얻으라
나 주께서 명하신 복음을 힘써 전하며 살 동안
그 갈릴리 오신 이 내 맘에 항상 계시기 원하네
내가 영원히 사모할 주님 
참 사랑과 은혜 넘쳐 
나 뵈옵고 그 후로부터 
내 구주로 섬겼네

 

In Fancy I Stood by the Shore, One Day

 

1.In fan-cy I stood by the shore, one day,
Of the beau-ti-ful murm'ring sea;
I saw the great crowds as they thronged the way,
Of the Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee;
I saw how the man who was blind from birth,
In a mo-ment was made to see;
The lame was made whole by the match-less skill
Of the Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee.
And I felt I could love Him for-ev-er,
So gra-cious and ten-der was He!
I claimed Him that day as my Sav-ior,
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee.

2.His look of com-pas-sion, His words of love,
They shall nev-er for-got-ten be;
When sin-sick and help-less He saw me there,
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee;
He show'd me His hand and His riv-en side,
And He whispered "It was for thee!"
My bur-den fell off at the pierc-ed feet
Of the Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee.
And I felt I could love Him for-ev-er,
So gra-cious and ten-der was He!
I claimed Him that day as my Sav-ior,
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee.

3.I heard Him speak peace to the an-gry waves,
Of that tur-bu-lent, rag-ing sea;
And lo! at His word are the wa-ters stilled,
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee;
A peace-ful, a qui-et, and ho-ly calm,
Now and ev-er a-bides with me;
He hold-eth my life in His might-y hands,
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee.
And I felt I could love Him for-ev-er,
So gra-cious and ten-der was He!
I claimed Him that day as my Sav-ior,
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee.

4.Come, ye who are driv-en and tem-pest toss'd,
And His gra-cious sal-va-tion see;
He'll qui-et life's storms with His "Peace, be still!"
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee;
He bids me to go and the sto-ry tell,
What He ev-er to you will be,
If on-ly you let Him with you a-bide,
This Stran-ger of Gal-i-lee.
And I felt I could love Him for-ev-er,
So gra-cious and ten-der was He!
I claimed Him that day as my Sav-ior,
