성령이여 우리 찬송 부를 때

 

1. 성령이여 우리 찬송 부를 때
진심으로 찬양하게 하소서

2. 성령이여 우리 기도드릴 때
우리 곁에 계셔 일러주소서

3. 성령이여 우리 성경 읽을 때
그 속에서 빛을 보게 하소서

4. 성령이여 우리 전도할 때에
지혜로운 말씀 주시옵소서

5. 성령이여 우리 겸손해져서
우리 주와 같이 되게 하소서

Holy Spirit, Hear Us

 

1.Ho-ly Spir-it, hear us, Help us while we sing;
Breathe in-to the mu-sic Of the praise we bring.

2.Ho-ly Spir-it, prompt us When we kneel to pray;
Near-er come, and teach us What we ought to say.

3.Ho-ly Spir-it, shine Thou On the Book we read;
Gild its ho-ly pag-es With the light we need.

4.Ho-ly Spir-it, bright-en Lit-tle deeds of toil;
And our play-ful pas-times Let no fol-ly spoil.

5.Ho-ly Spir-it, give us Each a low-ly mind;
Make us more like Je-sus, Gent-le, pure, and kind.
