O God, Our Help in Ages Past

 

예부터 도움 되시고

 

1. 예부터 도움 되시고 내 소망 되신 주
이 세상 풍파 중에도 늘 보호하시리

2. 이 천지 만물 있기 전 주 먼저 계셨고
온 세상 만물 변해도 주 변함없도다

3. 주 앞에 천년만년이 한날과 같으니
이 세상 모든 일들이 다 잠시뿐이라

4. 세월이 흘러가듯이 인생은 떠나니
이 인생 백 년 살아도 꿈결과 같도다

5. 예부터 도움 되시고 내 소망 되신 주
일평생 지나갈 동안 늘 보호하소서

1.O God, our help in a-ges past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shel-ter from the storm-y blast,
And our e-ter-nal home!

2.Be-fore the hills in or-der stood,
Or earth re-ceived her frame,
From ev-er-last-ing Thou art God,
To end-less years the same.

3.A thou-sand a-ges in Thy sight
Are like an eve-ning gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night,
Be-fore the ris-ing sun.

4.Time, like and ev-er-roll-ing stream,
Bears all its sons a-way;
They fly, for-got-ten, as a dream
Dies at the op'n-ing day.

5.O God, our help in a-ges past,
Our hope for years to come,
Be Thou our guide while life shall last,
And our e-ter-nal home!
